Dos and Don’ts for Escorts

Being an escort is considered to be a risk business by many people. However, safety tips for escorts are now very common and employed by virtually everybody. Here is a bunch of do’s and don’ts that should keep you out of trouble with clients and with the law.

Do your best to be anonymous

Avoid attempts by clients to get your home address. It could have bad results down the line. Some clients are known to be obsessed with a particular escort, which is not healthy for your business.

Do not call or receive calls from your clients on a billed cell phone. Your bills can easily expose your details to nosey clients and they may get your address by using data theft mechanisms.

Use a pre-paid phone for your business transactions as an escort. This will ensure that nobody has access through your personal details because of the phone calls that you get or make.

If possible, don’t carry anything in your purse that personally identifies you. It could prove to be a mistake in case the client turns out not to be ideal one.

Payment is a huge sometimes with many clients. Here is what you can do about it.

Ask the client to pay in advance for your escort services or as soon as you arrive.

Don’t accept CREDIT CARDS from your clients as a gift. When you spend money from it, the client can later dispute it and force you legally to pay it back to you. If you don’t have any record of your business as an escort with the client, you may end up having a shell out.

Don’t accept checks from your client. Checks can be cancelled and your payments can be stopped. Usually, you can’t go back complaining about it to your clients. The same goes for money orders too, as they too can be cancelled at any time.

New customer

When you agree to provide escort service to a new client, make it clear to him about the terms and conditions.

Let him know exactly what your service involves, how long the service lasts and what kind of payments you expect.

Do not talk about sex with a new client

Gather as much information as you can about your client. If he has a home phone number, you should be able to find out something about his history from sources such as credit reports.

Don’t do business with a client who says that he has no home phone number and only has a pre-paid cell phone for communicating with you. In all probability, he has something to hide from you.

Find out about him from other escorts, and verify his name and location. The screening process is extremely important for your safety. Only accept to serve those clients that pass your test.

When on an outcall

You need to be extra careful when you are booking an outcall. Here is what you should do.

The first thing that you should do is verify the address of your client. You want to know that the address you got is a genuine one, especially not a place in a lonely area.

Do arrange your own transportation to and from your client’s home. You don’t know when you will need to leave and trusting your clients to pick you up FROM HOME and dropping you off is not a good option. Moreover, you are revealing your address to your client this way.

If possible, have a driver drive you to the client’s place. This is especially helpful when your client is residing in an unknown area. This way you know that you have somebody waiting for you if things go awry.

If the client says he has booked at a HOTEL, get his info and verify from the front desk if his name and number are registered. If not, he is probably staying at the room with a fake name and isn’t a safe proposition.

Tell your client that you prefer an upscale HOTEL FOR your escort service rather than a home or motel.

Don’t accept calls from a customer if he insists that you do not travel with a driver or by a taxi. This is usually a clear indication that his intentions aren’t clean.

Be aware

Being aware of your surroundings, it helps you to be safe.

If you are on an outcall with a new client, reach the place a bit early and survey the surroundings.

When to cancel

Here are a few situations where you should cancel your booking.

When you arrive at your client’s place and find more people with him. You didn’t sign up for this.

If you find that you have arrived to a party, there may be more people around waiting for you, which isn’t a good sign.

The place has loud music. This could be so that people can’t hear you shout in case anything goes wrong.

Being safe

Don’t carry too much cash in your purse when you are providing service to a client.

If you have someone like a driver waiting outside for you, then inform your client. It will let the client know that he needs to behave.

When you communicate with your client for the first time, talk to someone besides you such as a friend or family member (even if they are not present). This will let the client know that there are people who know where you are at a given time.
